Emery (Pepper) Fink,
founder, began his asphalt business in 1970 with a single piece of equipment.
Working as salesman, operator, bookkeeper and office manager; Pepper believed
from the start that a job worth doing was a job worth doing well. Careful
site preparation, a commitment to service and quality of finish has always
been our trademark. Now, over 30 years
later, we've grown to over 17 employees, operate our own quarry and carefully
manage over $1 million in equipment. Even more satisfying though is that we
are only beginning to re-pave some of those first driveways that Pepper
paved. Fink’s Paving and Excavating, Inc. is a family owned business now in its second generation with over 150 years of combined experience amongst the employees.
